Official Plan
The Township of Ramara Official Plan was adopted by Council on June 2, 2025, and approved by the County of Simcoe on February 24, 2026, with amendments. The Official Plan is now in full force and effect.
The Official Plan outlines the goals, priorities, and permitted land uses within our municipality. The Official Plan works in conjunction with other applicable legislation, such as the Planning Act, Provincial Planning Statement, Lake Simcoe Protection Plan, and County of Simcoe Official Plan.

Official Plan Amendments
If a proposed development does not comply with the Township's Official Plan, you will need to submit a Planning Application. Contact the Township of Ramara to discuss the application that you will need for your project.
No new amendments have been adopted at this time.
